“ Roasted duck here is really good. The rest is decent. Need to call earlier to reserve the roasted duck. ”
“ Great food and many choices. Can choose level of spiciness. Restaurant space is a bit tight. Our group was a party of 6. ”
“ The environment was nice and tidy. There were a few signs of XX HuTong on the wall. I had no ideas where those Hutongs were and what they meant, but they gave me a feel of the good old days in the 80s back in China. Food was clean and just seemed to be what they should be. It took more than an hour for the duck to be ready, and the duck tasted good. Nothing was too spicy or salty or oily. I like the boiled lamb the most, simple, unpretentious, yet confident. ”
“ Called the night before to reserve a Peking duck. It was very well made. After the meat is sliced off you can ask them to make the leftover meat and bones into a seasoned dish or soup. I think the seasoned dish is good but ok to skip. I would like to try the soup next time. ”
“ The food was absolutely outstanding. I ordered the signature Peking duck, which was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside—an absolute must-try! ”
“ This place is definitely underrated! Stable good quality of food and clean environment (doesn’t look like they have opened for 10 years). It’s going to be my usual place. Highly recommend fish head pancake(not sure what’s it called) ”
“ Crispy Tofu and Braised Eggplant are incredible. Servers are kind and service is fast. They can’t speak the best English but they know enough to get by. ”
“ Our group of 2 pre-ordered a roast duck (need to call the day before and they can only accept one duck, not half). It’s prepared to perfection at our prescheduled time, well-cut, very crispy and tasty. We ordered a cold dish and the duck bone soup to accompany the roast duck. The service was awesome and attentive. Atmosphere is great — well decorated, not too noisy and easy to talk. They have private rooms too with round tables. I think this place is underrated and will sure to come back. ”
